Can you see the bird?
Okay, it's not a duck!
But it's pretty cool!
On my way from Cooper Pedy to Adelaide, I stopped and took these photos just before arriving in Glendambo. I had slowed down as this gorgeous creature was starting to cross the road but had second thoughts, luckily, and turned around, heading into the scrub. I had time to stop, find the camera, take aim and shoot (the pictures). It really was cool to see him or her so close in their natural environment, of the bush, not the road.
